Negra, espuma rojiza.

Bottle picked up from Morrison’s Minehead. Aroma is nice earthy nut roast, little coal, little milky. Mahogany brown coloured pour with a fading mid tan head. Flavour is composed of mellow nutty roast, red berry, powdered choc, little tart red berry. Good balance. Palate is medium light, moderate carbonation. Little milky.

Bottle as Marstons Stout from Morrison’s. Opaque black beer with a thin bubbly head. Smell is dry and malty. Flavour is what you’d expect from a solid if thoroughly unspectacular stout. Dry malt, a bit of fruit and chocolate. Slightly sweet finish.

Bottle. Pours a deep, dark brown to black color with a light brown head. Malty aroma of chocolate, coffee, sweet liqourice, dried fruit and some caramel. The flavor is malty and sweet as well with chocolate, lactose, roasted malt and some liqourice. Has a medium body, and a light bitterness. Has a nice aroma with fruity tones. Great taste.

Black with frothy tan head. Light malty, soy sauce aroma. Light flavour, roasted notes, fruity, some chocolate perhaps. A bit watery but certainly drinkable.

On tap at the Sawn Inn Almondsbury. Deep black colour with a tan head. Aroma has toasted malts. The taste has toasted malt too but was a touch watery, and had a acrid aftertaste.
