Im historischen Lagerkeller der ältesten Braustätte Bambergs reift und lagert unser naturtrübes und unfiltriertes Kellerbier. Der Name ist Programm, und so leuchtet das Bier in einem wunderschönen Kupfer mit orangenen Reflexen. Ein kräftiger feinporiger Schaum vollendet die Optik dieses klassischen naturbelasssenen Kellerbieres. Die Nase empfängt nussige und sahnige Karamell Aromen. Die ausgewogene malzige Fülle paart sich mit Harmonie und Eleganz. Im Nachtrunk vollmundig mit kräftiger Bittere, die dem malzgeprägten und ausdrucksstarken Bier das nötige Rückgrat gibt.

500ml bottle. Pours Cloudy darkest orange with a fluffy head. Malt, clove, hay, bread, banana, esters, nuts, caramel. Mild dryness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, mild dry sweet grainy yeasty finish. Not overwhelming. Goes certainly well with hearty meals but nothing for standalone consumption.

Draught @ Klosterbraü, Bamberg. Pours hazy Golden with a frothy White head. I ordered a small , Got a Schnitt according to waitor and ended up with 45cl. Sweet and fruity. Estery. Grainy. Slight marzipan. Flabby. Quite poor wouldnt even State mediocre.

50cl swing top bottle. A hazy dark golden beer with a off-white head. Aroma of biscuit malt, spicy hops. Taste of biscuit malt, spicy hops, some grains, fruity hops. Moderate bitterness.

Amber to dirty orange with a fleeting, frothy head. Yeasty, mildly fruity aroma, hints of apricot, apple, caramel. Taste is mildly bitter the whole way through, picking up a slight metallic edge at the finish. Medium bodied, mild carbonation. Okay.

Tap, stein, at the brewpub. Thanks SinH4 for sharing! Dark amber body, off white head. Flowery herbal hoppy aroma. Soft flowery taste, hoppy, with a lightly eggy and malty background. Nice! Very much a quality keller!

50cl bottle from Hier Gibts Bier. As Klosterbräu Bamberger Kellerbier. Poured slightly unclear golden color with a thick white head. Smooth, creamy like mouthfeel. Mild fruity, malty, dusty hay. Long finish. Pleasant kellerbier.

served in a stein at Klosterbräu Bamberg. Smooth and velvety, easy drinking, highly quaffable lager with shy yeasty fruity hints and good resiny hops. Lovely.

On tap at the Stubla in Bamberg. Hazy gold amber colour thin white head. Malty nutty some alcohol sweetness. light hops on finish. moderate deniability. Malty kellerbier.
