Schnapp-Fläschla: Light amber coloured, hazy, slowly collapsing lacy off-white head, sweetish malty to grainy nose with some fruity and some bready traces; mild to moderate sweetish flavour, low bitterness, light to medium bodied, pretty soft; shorter sweetish grainy-bready finish. Quite modest by franconian standards...

Tap at the brewery. Shitty brown color, muddy, with a full, tight head. Milky diacetyl nose, caramel, acetaldehyde. Sweet buttery nastiness. Not finished, found. They should be ashamed of themselves.

On tap at Klosterbräu Bamberg. Unclear dark golden coloured, medium sized off white head, grainy herbalish nose. Sweetish malty, grainy, notes of bread and touch of caramel with dusty dryish yeasty finish. Drinkable.

8th Sep 2018, half-litre on tap in Klosterbrau, Bamberg. Very slight haze to the amber brown body, beige head. Bready, malty and nice. Looks and taste very similar to their Braunbier which I also had on the table at the same time. This just a little more hop bitter in the finish.

2 August 2018. At Klosterbräu, Bamberg. Cheers to Anke!
Pours hazy orange wiith a lasting, small, foamy, off-white head; little lacing. Aroma of dank cellar, mouldy orange & peach, cookie dough, old bread, yeast, ripe banana, soggy herbs, weird hint of chicken broth. It tastes light malty sweet, bready, with ripe fruits in the back, and light spicy bitter, yeasty & dank with a sourish accent. Dryish, yeasty finish, hay-like, lingering bready malt. Medium body, slick/oily texture, soft carbonation. Effective 'cellar' aroma, but to call it pleasing...

Bottled, from a getränkemarkt in Bamberg. Poured into steinkrug. Probably lightly hazy amber, small head. Caramelly grainy nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Mostly sloppy caramel. Low bitterness. Disappointingly poorly made.
