A beautifully balanced beer, fruity by nature, with a well-rounded body and the suggestive echo of Crystal Malt.

duft av eik og litt bitter. Fin gulbrun gyllen farge. Lite skum.

50cl bottle from Varnaveien mineravann, Moss. Pours dark amber with an off-white head. Malty and aroma with (over)ripe fruits, caramel and hints of hops and spices. Moderate sweet with a light bitterness in the finish. Easy to drink and quite okay.

Bottle from Brewdog Slovensko. Aroma is caramel, light chocolate, light citrus hops, a little earthy. Colour is clear deep amber. Small white head, instantly disappearing. Taste is mostly bitter. While the bitterness is solid, there is not much flavour to speak about. Some light caramel, light bland hops. Once again, drinkable beer, but IMHO not food for thought. Finish is grassy, bitter, solid duration.

0.5l bottle. This is a clear dark amber one with a small islandy and sidesticking just off-white head. On the nose I get soft dry caramel, a bit of tea and something almost fruity. Smells alright. Nothing spectacular. Medium bodied with a average small soft carbonation level. Tastes quite nice for this kind of beer. It's malty sweet like biscuits, it has a bite on the bitterness. A bit floral and it has a nice hoppy profile. Quite a easy drinkable one and light enjoyable bitter. 13.04.2013
