330 ml bottle. Pale golden body with a foamy white head. Aroma is vague grainy and a bit fruity. Flavor is thin, vague malty and low bitterness. At a certain level I might say this have a certain degree of fruitiness and freshness, but after a few more sips this “fruitiness” start to taste a bit synthetic. No aftertaste at all, and in this case its positive.

Medium white coarse-laced head over yellow body. Sweetish aroma with notes of apple and caramel, with a completely unnecessary touch of rubber. Taste is grainy, malty apple with an aftertaste of bitter, watery wet straw. Bitter wet straw lingers. Overall it’s watery. Not really very pleasant. (0.33l bottle.)

Bottle. Light golden. Low carbonation. Light malty nose. Sweet, malty taste, but not much of it. The beer is made to satisfy "everybody", but in my opinion it probably won’t. (050903)

(Bottle 33 cl) Light golden with a pretty and creamy head. Mild, soft. limited bitterness and a pronounced malt-sweetness makes this almost liquid candy. I must admit, that I have a fondness for these Norwegian summer beers. 040504

Canned. Pale golden. Dusty, fruity nose. Very sweet wit notes of crystalized sugar. Otherwise - nothing. Not much of a beer...

(330 ml clear bottle). Being the most active Norwegian rater at this website, I have taken upon my shoulders the heavy burden of tasting every new Norwegian beer that comes my way. Unfortunately most macro (by Norwegian standards of size and quality) breweries seem intent on producing at least one "summer beer" and one "ice beer" (or even an "summer ice beer") - in each and every case we’re speaking of very pale lagers with as little flavour as possible, to satisfy the large(?) group of consumers who really don’t like the taste of beer, but want a refreshment and a nice buzz. Could as well drink sparkling water? Yeah, I know, I know - you don’t get a buzz from water. Borg Sommer"pilsner" is a tasteless joke - as if the ordinary Borg Pilsner wasn’t bland enough! Avoid.
