Bottle 500ml. @ Carnival Tasting 2015, Denmark. [ As Fjellbryggeriet Ymist # 5 ].ABV: 4.6%. Light unclear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, light to moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, banana. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, fruity, banana, yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150228]

500 ml bottle. Unclear orange body with a medium sized off-white head. Nice fruity aroma with spicy yeast, pleasant esters, some wheat and banana. Very refreshing flavor with soft malt, oranges, grapefruit, banana and spices. Light but balanced bitterness. Balanced body and refreshing fruity aftertaste. A bit unusually outside the styles, but sure lovely and refreshing.

Bottled@fonefan. Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, floral, nectary and some mild earthy notes. Flavour is citrus, mild nectar, some acidic notes as well as mild wood.

Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt. wheat, banana, belgian yeast, floral and hint of bubblegum. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long yeasty, banana and wheat finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, at Beermakers Dinner at Kick. A lightly unclear beer, orange in color, with an off-white head. There’s quite a lot of banana and cloves in a the aroma, especially considering the lack of weizen yeast in the recipe. Some lemon at first, with a malty touch in the back. It’s full to medium bodied with a nice carbonation level, quite soft. Some citric notes in the flavor, with banana, cloves and some lemon hints. Lasting fruity finish. An interesting one, quite tasteful and easy drinkable. An unusual combo of ingredients gives an unusual array of aromas and flavor, but it works. 150219
