500 ml bottle. Unclear reddish orange body with a nice, stable off-white head. Aroma has malt, fruit, yeast and a bit spicy. Flavor is quite mild malty, light caramel, a bit spicy yeast like Saison and moderate in bitterness. Quite balanced body with a mild malty and slightly spicy aftertaste. Drinkable, but a bit unusually and not the best beer from Fjellbryggeriet.

31.07.2015, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet yeasty, candied sugar, caramel malts, yeast, banana, grass, dried fruits, bubblegum, grain, hints of almond essence. Taste is kind of neutral, yeast, minerals, weeds, bark, almond essence, paper, grass, candied sugar, weeds. Medium bitterness, harsh mineraly mouthfeel. I’d say something belgian ale about this one, still meh!

Bottle. A dense, two-finger beige head forms over an unclear, amber colored body. The aroma is rather fruity and sweetish, with some yeast notes and pine cones. It’s full-bodied, very smooth and nicely carbonated. Rather yeasty flavor too, with apples, some caramel malts and a generic fruityness. Long malty, fruity finish with a yeast touch. Not very interesting this one, sort of weird too. 150719

50cl bottle from Meny Alna, Oslo. Pours hazy chesnut to copper coloured with an off-white head. Immediate wheaty aroma followed by more fruity notes, bitter berries, caramel and herbs. Medium sweet with strange herbal flavours and notes of wheat, finishes moderately bitter. Don’t quite get this one, some pleasant elements and some not so pleasant. Interesting enough, but hardly a beer I would want to buy again. --- Beer merged from original tick of Ymist # 6 - Red X on 27 May 2015 at 17:37 - Score: 5
