Haand festival 2015. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is bread, chocolate, roasted malt. Flavour is chocolate, roasted malt, alcohol, bread, caramel, nuts, coffee. Nice beer.

Black with a brown head - Roasted malt aroma with some hints of chocolate - Roasted malt body that has some flavours of chocolate and coffee with hints of bitterness - Roasted malt goes into the finish - This was nice

Sampled from tap @ Kristiansand ølfestival 2015. Dark brown body with a small beige head. A bit discrete aroma of dark malt, dry fruit and caramel. Flavor is rich malty, slightly roasted, caramel, dry fruit and a bit nutty with medium bitterness. Fine balanced full body and warming aftertaste. Pretty straight forward, but enjoyable.

Bottle at Haand Festival. It’s a lighlty unclear, brown colored beer topped by a dense, beige head leaving lacing. Bread, toffee and caramel sauce in the aroma. Some dried fruits too. The flavor has a touch of bonfire, as well as the bready, toffee-ish malts known from the aroma. Prune hints and a decent bitterness to. Dry and nicely carbonated, with a lasting finish. A nice beer with a rather boring aroma. 150529

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry, roasted grain, broth, dark malts, nuts, caramel, grass, chocolate. Taste is slightly dry roasted, burnt grain, hay, weeds, grass, ashtray, paper, dark malts, nuts, burnt caramel. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and watery mouthfeel. Fair enough.

On tap at Crowbar, Oslo. Dark mahogany, close to black, with a light beige head. Malty aroma with lots of chocolate and caramel, dome dried dark fruits, hints of coffee and alcohol. Black stuff with a fine beige head that leaves a nice lacing down the glass. Roasted, chocolate and coffee aroma. Medium + body with a creamy texture. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Roasted, toffee, mild fruity and chocolate in the flavor. A nice and fine porter.

Poured from a 500ml bottle at Haandbryggeriet Beer Festival. Shared with Finn. Lacing rings down the glass from a film-type layer. Smell of roasted malts and dark fruits. Dark malty flavours with liquorice and dark chocolate. Roasted bitterness to the finish. Medium bodied, hidden alcohol. Nice (Drammen 30.05.2015).
