On tap at Orsted. Poured golden with a white head. Aroma had fruit and malt notes. Flavor is nothing special, doesn’t really live up to the aroma.

Picked this up from shop in Aarhus Had this outside Frank (Camper) in campsite near Skagen 18-09-08 Pours reddy/brown with white head. Some rolling tobacco on the nose along with a good maltiness. Nice malty beer bit nutty reminds me of British style beer. Quite thrusty and up front, hops well hidden, most enjoyable.

(Draught at SOPP2008) Amber. Almost clear. Medium-sized white head. Weak malty nose. Dryish full palate with some carbonation. Malts, hops, lightly salty liquorice and sweetness in taste.

500ml bottle. Action-packed brown ale. Hearty, malty with caramel overtones. Goes very well with sausages and beans and would be a great winter warmer. One of my favourite finds in DK, and also a bargain relative to most smaller Danish efforts.

330ml bottle. Reddish brown body with a small beige head. Aroma is bread, malt, dry fruit and some caramel. Flavor is sweet malty, caramel, dry fruit and some hops in the finish. Remember this as much more extraordinary, but this was some years ago. Nice flavorful beer anyway.

Bottle, 50cl. Clear, copper body with a beige head. Slightly roasted nose with caramel and some hoppy fruityness. Caramel-sweet, fruity and slightly roasted flavor, finishing with caramel and some bitterness. Medium body. Quite nice and drinkable, sure a beer worth seeking out when in Denmark. At least if it was in 2002. (0710013)
