Bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is roast, chocolate, fresh yeast. Taste is fresh yeast, chocolate, mineralic. Silky mouthfeel with high carbonation. Ok, just boring.

Dark brown with medium brown head. Aroma is licorice oatmeal chocolate melasse brown sugar roast wort. Taste is harsh tart with some sweet melasses and a citric sourness. Quite fresh and drinkable without being watery. Good.

Bottle at the brewpub, 15/07/17. Light black with a well presented tan head. Nose is light chocolate, wheaten notes, toffee. Taste comprises brown bread, light fruit rinds, cocoa powder, grains. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, drying close. Average ... a touch over carbed and lacking depth.

Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, toasted, caramel, wheat, wood notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, dark malt, wheat, bread - grain. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160625]
