Lager - Czech Pilsner / Světlý Regular
Score
5.54
ABV: 4.7% IBU: - Ticks: 60
This excellent eleven-degree lager was first brewed in Pilsen in 2008. It contains 4.7% alcohol and excels with its full hoppy taste thanks to the unique triple hopping, in which the Pilsen brewers use a variety of the best quality Žatec hops – Žatec semi-early red hops. Every sip will make you want to drink more.

F: big, white, good retention. C: gold, clear. A: malt, grainy, buttery, grassy, caramel. T: malt, caramel, decent grassy bitterness, light honey, hint of bread, medium body, normal carbonation, for commercial production quite ok, 0,5l can from Sintra food market in Stary Smokovec.

0.5l can. Malty aroma with plums tones. Clear golden colour with medium white head. Malty taste with tones of vegetable soup. Medium body, oily texture, medium carbonation, malty and soapy aftertaste. Big disappointment, regarding an "extra usage of hops" in description. One try is more than enough for this beer.

(Can, 0.5 l, from a supermarket next to my hotel, 20160612) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness and hint of malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, malts, butter and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and mildly bitter. A rather pointless brew.

Can shared with TO in OSB band bus in Czech Republic. Clear golden. Diminishing bright white head. Sweet aroma and taste with hints of wet hay. Low bitterness. Just another crappy eurolager.

Pours a clear golden color, topping it is a fine and nicely lasting white head. Malty aroma is taken over by nice and pleasant grassy hops. Taste is crisp, light with grassy body and a nice bitterness in the finish. I like this one. A fine example of pilsner.
