RB backlog. Instant rosemary honey notes, walnut, thyme, resin, burnt caramelizing sugar. Starts only lightly sweet and gradually builds on that sweetness, but never becomes cloying - just like good honey.

Deutlicher Honig Geruch. Im Antrunk malzig mit milder Süße von Honig. Geringfügig röstig, intensiv malzig, etwas Bitterschokolade. Süffig, gut eingebracht alkoholisch, minimal herb. Zunehmend süß malziger Abgang, trockener Hintergrund, minimal Kokos. Kann was! 10/11/12/12/10/12

330 ml bottle from Beer Store Vienna, bb 22.11.2018.
Dark copper-brown, clear body, with a big, creamy, strongly lacing, beige head.
Aroma of toast, caramel, honey, dark bread, nuts, cocoa, some grains, slight grass.
Tastes quite similar, while fuller and rich, with some more dark chocolate.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium roasty, toasty, a bit sweet, moderate bitter, a bit dry, a bit wooden, slightly hoppy, a bit warm, with cocoa, dark honey, grains, slight dark chocolate.
Tasty. Almost as rich as a Stout, with the sweetness quite moderate fortunately and lots of toasty and dark malty notes. Very quaffable, the alcohol is well hidden and not too heavy despite the full body. Outstanding dark Bock and among my favourite Bierschmiede beers so far!
