Rustbucket, our trademark Rye Ale, now has a big brother, Black Bucket. This Black Rye IPA balances rye and roasted malts with fresh hop aromas and flavours. At 6.5% ABV Blackie is a little bigger in strength than his lighter sibling but we think he is every bit as drinkable.

440ml can from Sterk Amsterdam, 29th June 19. At home in the garden, picked the wrong one up last month, so pleased to grab this in my business trip this week. It's canned October 18, it's on its BB for June 19, however it pours black, tan head. Aroma is liquorice, cocoa, grapefruit. Taste is bitter, hoppy, citrus, cocoa. It's an excellent black IPA, full in the mouth and full of hoppy flavour. Love it

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep brown to black. Orangey-brown chinks around the edges. Nose - cookie dough and lime zest. Taste - bread, raisins, and still a citrus edge to it. Palate - crunchy and medium bodied. Crunchy, dry finish, which lasts. Overall - this is great!

Draught at the Brew Dock. Mild spicy aroma. Dark brown colour, seems hazy. The flavour is roasted with some nice chocolate. There is also a good piney hop note. More chocolate in the finish.
