For Vintage Ale 2018 we’ve stayed close to home; all of our ingredients have been sourced from the UK. Tropical, citrus and apricot flavours take centre stage, delivered by Ernest and Olicana hops. Pale ale malt from the finest Maris Otter barley combines with Crystal malt to give the beer a rich biscuit sweetness. As with every Vintage Ale, the flavours of this beer will develop for many years to come, like a fine wine or whisky

Thanks Ogi for this one! Shared with Hrabren and him. Murky dark amber-brown body, tiny off-white head. Creamy, peachy fruity aroma initially, bit caramel and heavy dust. Caramel and raisins pop up in the weirdly lean, dry taste, ending bitterish. Whatever hoppiness it might have had, it largely lost. Not my type really, just a bit too old.

0.5 l bottle thanks to Marko for sharing. Unclear amber, small off-white head. Nice fruity flavour, red fruit at first, strawberry, cherry, after awhile dried fruit. A touch of caramel, a touch of cocoa. Some bergamot. Some alcohol. Quite rich. A bit more sharp earthy in the flavour. Some fruitiness in the back. Medium body, drinkable.

Bottle, 500 ml at my bday Grande Tasting. Orange brownish with off white head. Caramel, malty, some dried fruit notes, tad sweet. Medium bodied.

Fruity nose of dried pears and plums. The beer starts malty dry. Lots of plums and red malts. Caramel, highly drinkable. Fruity with a great mild creamy finish.

Herrlich nussig in der Nase, cremig im Trunk, Malz, süffig süß, gefährlich gut trinkbar, sehr lecker.
