Spotty beige head on a dark brown coloured body. Malt & demerara aroma. Medium to full bodied, smooth, velvety & clean. Malt, spiced, sweet biscuit & jam tastes with a big boozy finish. My review doesn't do this beer justice - a truly excellent brew.

ABV: 12.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, dark malt, wood, smoke, moderate chocolate and coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, smoke, wood - woody, moderate chocolate - coffee, licorice root. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and moderate alcoholic. [20211214]

13/XI/21 - sample @ Billies Craft Beer Festival Day 2 (Waagnatie, Antwerp), BB: n/a (2021-1392) Thanks to the Brewver crew and other beer buddies for sharing today’s beers!
Clear dark brown beer, no head. Aroma: nice, sweet, lots and lots of chocolate, nice roast, vanilla, sugary impression, lovely, good stuff here! MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots and lots of very dank caramel, alcohol, sweet and sugary, little bitter. Aftertaste: cough syrup, vanilla, lots of dark caramel, “flan caramel” dessert, bitter, very roasted finish.

Pint can, WW. Purchased for tasting... didn't make it. I have a feeling I'm not going to make it after this one. Pours black with a soft dark brown head. Beautiful! Coffee, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, coffee grounds, roasted malts. Oh that's thick... Deep, dark chocolate, light (very light) smoke, rubber, roasted coffee beans, more dark chocolate, milk chocolate, earth, light vanilla, light caramel. STRONG flavors, really good. This would kill a Bud Light drinker.
