At SAVOR 2016. Poured a hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma was light grass, some herbal notes. Touch of grain. Floral, crisp lager notes.

Hazy golden, has a bit of a sulphury accent, with some sort of mushroom hop character. Tart, with awkward sugary malts. Not so well attenuated. No idea what this is aiming for but it is disjointed.

From a 12 oz can. Pours a clear straw with a thin off white head. Aroma of bread. Sweet bready flavors. Light bodied with a crisp finish.

12oz can thanks to Matt. Pours out a pale straw color topped with a small head. nose is a grain grassy notes and some spice. Taste is more of the grain malts and some light grass.

Draft at the brewery tap, San Leandro. Very pale greeny yellow coloured pour with a lasting white frothy white head. Aroma is pale grains, apple. White bread. Flavour is very light grains, little corn, apple, light citrus. Palate is very light, highish carbonation, drying finish. Pretty clean. Not bad for what it is.

Pour is a clear and fizzy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a definite malt with a mild grassy hop. Flavor is a decent malt backbone especially for a beer trying to be a Mexican lager. Kind of a light plis malt and maybe a small bitterness. More body and flavor than a beer brewed south of the border and perfect for when you just want a beer after work and not think about what your drinking.

Can from TJ’s in Davis, CA? Pours light lemony gold with a fizzy white head. Aroma of pale malt and a bit of floral/earth. Med minus body. It’s rather sweet - has a corn aspect. Gets papery in the finish. Gluey mouthfeel. Meh.

Draft. Golden beer with a whitish head. Light malt aroma. Malt and mineral note flavor with light spice. Medium bodied. Big mineral notes linger with light spice.

On tap at the San Leandro location. It pours a clear pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma has some lightly grainy malts with maybe a hint of apple and earthy noble hops. The flavor is lightly bready and husky. Hints of earthy noble hops and sweet corn that typifies Mexican lager. Refreshing but ultimately unsatisfying.
