22oz bottle pours an oily, leggy, black no head. Huge maple nose, barrel, caramel, some port. Flavors same, port, whiskey, caramel, marshmallow, maple, coffee is lacking. Full bodied, a little oily but really easy to drink. 9 3 9 4 16

Fles gedeeld door Benzai, geprobeerd met Keukeman. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met weinig schuim. Het heeft een typische volle bourbon achtige geur. de smaak is vol, bourbon, vanille en ahorn siroop.

(Bottle, 0.65 l, at Arde, 20220305) The beer poured oily, thick and black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, wood, fresh wood and maple syrup. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, maple syrup, wood, vanilla, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste woody, sweet and bitter. A sweet brew but not disturbingly sweet. Pleasant.

Bottle thanks to William. Pours a dark brown with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is roast, licorice, maple, wood. Slick body, maple, roasted malt, dark chocolate, molasses, boozy finish, very good.

Bomber thanks to Abz Kenny. It pours darkest brown to black with a small tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, sticky, umani, meaty, marmite, damp oak, vanilla, bourbon, bourbon biscuits, coffee, milky coffee, minty, toasty vibes, toasted coconut and some coconut cream. The taste is slick, bitter - sweet, toothy, charred, chewy, tangy, rich roasted malt, umami, marmite, dry roasted malt, toasted coconut, coffee, vanilla, warming, damp bourbon oak, spicy, warming booze, earthy, cacao and toothy with a drying finish. Fulsome body and fine to moderate carbonation. Slick and filthy. Really enjoyable.
