Dark brown, inky, no head. The aroma has lots of chocolate, some coconut, and a bit of cinnamon. The barrel rounds things out, a little bit, and some alcohol helps to dry it out. It's otherwise rich and sweet. The coconut tends to dominate.

16.9 oz. bottle, pours black, almost no head. Aroma is dominated by the coconut upfront, with subtle chili, some cocoa, and big bourbon barrels. Flavour has a nice mix of coconut and chili upfront, with some chocolate and cinnamon further back, with subtle bourbon to round things out. Good base malts, with a wonderful coconut character, and chili/cinnamon to slightly spice things up. Really nice.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Near black with very minimal beige head. Chocolate, feint chilli and cinnamon with just a hint of coconut. A touch thin, but okay.

500mL bottle. Pours black with no head. Lots of cacao, chili, coconut, and cinnamon on the nose. Flavour is boozy with nice roast, notes of cinnamon and chili, and more of the coconut closer to the finish. The barrel soften things nicely. Very nice beer.

Brunch beer at the Blind Tiger. Dark brown. Not much head on this pour. Rich aroma of thick chocolate, cinnamon and chile. Super thick, sweet chocolate, lots of spice, rounded bourbon notes, I mean it's Heaven Hill it's gorgeous. A touch of alcohol warmth in the finish. Depth for days. A fantastic conclusion to my New York Pastry Tour. 2022 vintage.

Thanks for the mule Clark. Aroma is chocolate, cinnamon, light chilies. Taste is nice, not too sweet, smooth, balanced, great barrel notes. A nice sipper.
