Bringing in a Polly’s stalwart in Mosaic to lead things, we’ve added Loral into the dry hop charge to take the complexity up a level. A so-called “Super-noble” hop, it has all those noble characteristics of those classic hops – floral, peppery and herbal, but with some ultra new school lemon, citrus and dark fruit notes to boot. The result? An IPA bursting with all those typical Polly’s characteristics.
Awesome.

Can from the Vineyard, Belfast. Appearance - cloudy yellow with a white head. Nose - lemon, melon and passion fruit. An edge of grassiness/yeastiness. Taste - passion fruit and lemon again. Still an edge of herb, but not too intrusive. Palate - light to medium bodied. Creamy in texture. Balanced bitterness. Overall - very nice.

Can at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Hazy gold pour with a white head. Definitely a lemon & pepper presence in the aroma, whack of dessert pear in there too. Taste is lemon drops, white grape, more dessert pear coming through, subtle hit of pepper in the close. Enjoyable stuff.
