Pours brown with a small pale tan head.Nose shows soft malt, chocolate, faint vanilla.Flavours include soft honey, roasted malt, smoked malt, and a dry slightly piny finish with an assertive bitterness.

Can. Dark brown with a cm of pale beige head. Mocha aroma with hints of smoke and honey. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Not that sweet with the honey and its medicinal notes pushed forward but roast and lovely spices don't sit far back (vanilla is prominent) before a dryish woody bitter finish. Ha, I called the original a promising draft of a better beer and here it is - the finish is much the same but it's much tauter beforehand.
