Can from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Aroma is roasted malt with hop, chocolate, notes of tropical fruits and citrus. Flavour is medium bitter with a light sweetness. Medium body. Pretty good. Not the most profound Black IPA, but I'll gladly take it.

Can at home, black beer, small head. Aroma is coffee, malt, roast, hint of citrus. Taste is the same, some chocolate, malt, sweet, bitter, not bad.

33cl Blik van De Laat. Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Koffie, gebrande mout, wat harsige en grapefruit-achtige hop, kruidig, chocolade, meer koffie. Wat aan de dunne kant en daardoor geen hoogvlieger, wel een aangename BIPA
