Bottle at Drunken Duck, shared with Miro. 2007 vintage. Dark brown with almost no head. Whiskey and peat, flat, chocolate, wood, tad sweet. Gets richer as it warms up.

Tap at Beer & Food (street festival), in Rimini, Italy. Pours hazy dark amber, with fine beige foam. Aroma is malty, caramel, barrel. Body is only fairly dense, with average carbonation and a little stickiness. Taste is medium-sweet sweet, also because of the barrel passage. Final is pretty long and pleasant.

Draught @ OAK Wine and Craft Beer, Naples. Pours hazy dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with hints of coffee and touches of yeast. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and dried fruit, with mild roasty notes and estery touches. Well, drinkable but not much in the way of a typical imperial stout. More of a doppeltbock blended with a barley wine.

Bottle purchased from an Enoteca Regionale in the truli district of Alberobello. Opaque dark brown beer, big fluffy pale tan head. Palate is light, mildly dry. Decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts. Light malt cream. Fruity smoky whiskey. Some peaty tang, obvious but not overwhelming. Trace of dark chocolate. Smooth tangy finish. Peat whiskey stouts never gonna be my favourite, but this one is quite approachable.
