De Trillende Truus is een fruitige tripel. Ze doet denken aan de smaak van geel fruit en citrus. Ze drinkt gemakkelijk weg ondanks het vrij hoge alcoholpercentage. Door de zoete fruitige combinatie is deze tripel geschikt om in elk seizoen te drinken.

Fles 33cl thuis. Kruidig, bittertonen, Belgisch gist, witte peper, fruitig, zoeten, malttonen, orange peel, kruidnagel, licht boozy, redelijk vol van smaak. (9-1-2022).

Geel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is zoetzuur en fruitig met iets van rode bes, citrus en wat sinaasappel. Ik ben er niet echt van onder de indruk.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with small, frothy, fading, white head. Yeasty fruity and yeasty spicy, herbal aroma, hints of quince, bitter orange, white pepper, sage, mustard seed. Taste is bitter hoppy, yeasty fruity and yeasty spicy, hints of quince, white pepper, a tart-ish, fruit acidic touch, some sage; lingering, tart-ish, fruity finish. Watery texture, minimally astringent, simultaneously minimally cloying palate, fine, soft carbonation. Pretty unusual, would have rubricated this as flavoured Sour/Wild Ale in a blind tasting but definitely not as Tripel - interesting.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Bierloods 22, Woerden. Dutch brewery #449.
Hazy golden with a white head. Yeasty fruity tripel aroma. Sweet fruity taste with a bitter finish. Actually a very nice and enjoyable tripel.
