On tap at Locality, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle English hops and bready malt. Flavour brings out gentle English hops, light bitterness, and bready malt. Balanced well, with rather assertive hops on the finish. Very good.

Draught at the brewery
Light amber colour, clean. The aroma is lightly dank. Soft mouthfeel, some biscuity and caramelly malts, mild grassy accent, robust bitterness. Clean and pleasant.

Poured from the tap. Slightly hazy copper brown with small white head. Mild toasted malt with touch of citrus. Just a touch soggy, but okay.

Cloudy brownish orange body and okay foam. Smells of weak malt, nothing else. Taste is nice maltiness, orange zest hints, very possibly maybe a hint of custard (a very big deal for any local english pale ale to get even close). Sadly it's too tepid and wet, I see what they're trying to capture but aren't succeeding. Halfway there, but needs some real work to go the distance.

Holy crap, when was the last time a brewery made an EPA? Style necromancy at this point. Amber with a slight haze. Medium head. Toasty malts are the feature, with subtle fruity ester notes, mellow hops that bring a touch of pine, touch of citrus. I like it.
