The first in our Haywire series is the Dry Hopped Blackberry Sour. The sour is bursting with blackberry flavour and the citra hops bring a tropical nose and flavour to the juicy tart blackberries.

Poured from the tap. Purple red with small white head. Mild grain, timid berry. Disappointing.

Muddy purple body and minimal foam. Smells of nice tart berry, a little muddled though. Taste is all muddled berry, soft grain, good tartness, ends a little too wet and needs carbonation. Nice flavour but the rest needs work.

You can get beer form or slushy form. But it's all just straight butyric acid, albeit with an attractive pinkish purple colour. Absolutely undrinkable. I mean I didn't drain pour this so much as threw it as far away from me as I can manage.
