On tap at Jackknife, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out some chaotic Belgian yeast on the nose, with caramel, and bready toffee. Flavour is dominated by the Belgian yeast, with treacle toffee and caramel. A bit too chaotic and perfumey, but not bad.

Nice deep ruby copper body and modest foam. A very sweet malt aroma, close to red wine, excellent and so very hard to find. Taste is smooth caramel with soft fruity hop notes that lean toward red wine; lingering sugar, but smooth and not overbearing. They should teach this to kids in brewing school as a standard.
