A twist on our Hollow Tree Lager, we brewed it with an ale yeast to make this refreshing, clean and crisp pseudo lager! (Fun fact: ‘Heartwood’ comes from the name of the central supporting pillar of a tree)

Hazy deep yellow body, okay foam. Smells of rancid corn, slight dishrag, maybe some soft sweet hops. Taste is soft grain and corn, full finish. Okay, seems a little disjointed.
