750 ml bottle from Beer Store Vienna.
Dark amber, brownish, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, off-white head.
Aroma of nuts, grass, sweet bread, honey, ripe fruits, subtle citric notes, some rubber.
Taste with a lot of smooth honey, ripe fruits, citric hops, nuts, bread.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes alcohol warming, malty, hoppy, a bit zesty, fruity.

Very good. Not the most complex Barley Wine I’ve had, but a really smooth, full, warming beer. I like the taste more than nose though, especially because of the very nice honey notes.

Tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien. Labeled "Barley Wine with Amarillo". Aroma strong grassy, citrusy, zesty, orange. Strong hoppiness. Lightly hazy deep amber colour. Taste is very balanced. Hop forward, but decently so, citrusy, resiny and heavy malty background is also noticeable. Very good.
