Draught, half pint, shared with Finn during a beer fest at Furnace Inn. Patchy surface over a clear dark brown body. Fair lacing. Peaches, malt and dried fruity nose. Flavoured with grainy malts and fruity hints beneath. Bittersweet ending. Just alright (Derby 18.02.2016)

Bottle picked up at The Furnace, Saturday 25th consumed at home Sunday 26th July 2015 A little smokey on the nose. Mid amber in colour with a filmy white head. Quite disappointed with this, plenty of caramel, but not a lot of hoppiness. It’s a rather drab bitter, does not a lot for me. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov10 2.9

Cask at the Barton Arms; light copper pour with a creamy thin off white head, hint of citrus in the aroma, everything is a bit subdued light hop and malt, some vinegar the cask may have turned.
