Defined for daylong companionship, the Golden Tuna rides along a medium bodied frame before delving into tropical fruit, a touch of floral, with a slightly piney finish. Climb aboard and cut her loose.

The aroma is mostly hops, kind of resinous. Flavor is mild to moderately bitter with piney hops, some light fruitiness, and light malt. The malt profile tastes like a lot of session ipas. Okay but underwhelming.

Aromas are a nice blend of citrus, citrus rind, resin, wet grain and a little MJ. Flavors are similar to nose, lightly sweet up front with an easy bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Big pounder can from vintage for $3. Big blue sea colored can with yeller writing. Slight haze on pale in mug, with an interesting head. Smell is old rubber, maybe tuna? Just asking. Yes, rubbery and odd, wants to kick like a real IPA but just barely gets there. Veggie, did I say veggie? Oh yea, you know, that typical veggie cabbage taste thing going on. Straight up symplocarpus foetidus finish. There, you have it.

On tap at Trail's End. Pours a clear, golden color, with a medium, foamy, white head. The aroma is tangerines, dust, butterscotch, and pine sap. Sweet and malty, with a smooth, lovely bitterness. Light to medium body, with a crisp, silky mouthfeel. This is a pleasantly hoppy and easy pale ale.
