Smooth and satisfying, this example of an historic style of beer derives its rich, chocolatey character from a blend of Brown and Chocolate malts in the brew. Its notable coffee notes and creamy finish make it a wonderful accompaniment to many sweet foods – especially chocolate pudding. 5.4% ABV.

Bottle from Tesco. Surprisingly rich porter for this voltage. Nice roasty flavors together with cocoa. Bit sour to the end. Pleasant.

Bottle. A- Caramel, dark fruits, coffee, chocolate. A- Dark mahogany brown color, dark liquid, off white head. T- Roasty, dry cocoa, malty, char. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- "Best by July 2017". At over 6 months passed the best by day this beer was still rocking. Lots of fruity caramel notes along with a nice balance of cocoa, coffee, and roasted malts. Really tasty.

Almost black, dense head. Coffee and some chocolate aroma. Dry, fresh taste with chocolate taste. Goes well with the christmas table.

500 ml bottle. Pours black with small beige head. Burnt breadcrumbs, burnt malt, coffee, ashes, caramel, some dried fruits, tobacco. Balanced taste, bittersweet, dry finish. Full bodied, oily texture, light carbonated. Easy to drink and very smooth. Lovely Porter.

33cl bottle. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate. Taste follows nose. Earth. Hints of smoke. Very nice.
