Tap. Dark golden, surprisingly clear. Bread and butter; cold sweet butter. This translates into the taste, too. Its not bad, though. Balanced.

Draught @ the brewpub, Tiefenellern. Pours hazy amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with touches of hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish notesnof malt and yeast. Bitterish and estery aftertaste with malty touches. Decent.

Ok+

500 ml. Unclear amber, small foamy head. Honey, nuts, metallic hops, lemon, caramel. Dry mild but metallic bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry malty finish. Ok, however should classified as Amber Lager.

Just a slightly smoked and malty aroma and flavor. Almost smoked like an Islay malt whisky. Medium to full bodied. Just a touch of peachy fruitiness. Lovely beer, suitable for most beer drinkers taste, but with a "bite" that makes it an interesting beer.
