Viene imbottigliata e/o infustata senza l’aggiunta di gas oltre a quello naturale di fermentazione e non vengono aggiunti conservanti.
Ricetta antica di fine 1700, austriaca, che in pochi ormai inseriscono all’interno della loro produzione. Il risultato è una birra caramellata ma delicata, non risulta troppo dolce ed è ben equilibrata.
La Rossa Vienna è perfetta nell’accompagnamento di carni alla griglia, affettati leggermente affumicati.
Risulta comunque piacevole compagna di serate in compagnia anche fuori pasto.

Bottled 330ml. -from EuroSpar Portogruaro, shared with Hrabren. Amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, light caramel and whiff of dried fruits in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, light fruity and nutty with dry sweetish finish.

0.33 l bottle thanks to Ogi who brought it from Italy, shared with him. Unclear amber to copper, small off-white head. Aroma is toasty, caramely, lightly fruity, bready and earthy. Moderately sweet, malty, caramely, bready flavour. Slightly sticky and cloying, not badly balanced. Soft carbonation, medium body, light bitterness, dry finish.

Draught at Salone Della Birra Artigianale e di Qualità 2007, Milan
Beautiful hazy amber color with red shades; creamy head. Soft aroma, hop, caramel, milk chocolate. Medium body, some malt and a lot of caramel, hint of dark chocolate, low bitterness, but pleasant.
