0,5l bottle shared by Saeglopur, big thanks. Vintage 2021. Black color, no head. Smells coffee, vanilla, whipped cream, cocoa, nutty, very nice smell. Full body, no carbonation. Tastes of bourbon, some sweetness, molasses, vanilla, nutty, bitter chocolate. Finishes lightly sweet with notes of vanilla, nutty and bourbon notes. Very nice one, very good to drink, bit heavy, but overall very good

Tap at Mikkeller Helsinki, Helsinki. Color is almost black with very small brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Bourbon, some sugary sweetness, coffee and roasted malts.

(Keg at Mikkeller Helsinki, 20210904) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had wood, vanilla and sweetness. Palate was full bodied and sticky sweet with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, more sweetness, vanilla, ash, even more sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter. An excessively sweet brew with sweet barrel notes. Not pleasant.

Heavy maple on the nose. Thick, oily, sweet, moderately boozy. Massive amount of maple syrup, strong bourbon, some coffee with creamer. Very nice, but the maple should maybe be dialed down a tad.

Bottle at tasting. Poured black in color. Beige head. Vanilla sweetness, pillowy, maple, chocolate, full bodied. Lots of coffee. Delicious despite the sweetness.

Bottle. (thanks SirLimpsalot) Black with a small tan head. Sweet with bourbon, toffee, coffee and some dried fruit. Warming alcohol in the finish.

On tap at Mikkeller SF, pours black with a tiny brown head. Nose is decadent, with loads of maple syrup, coffee and intense bourbon. Flavour is intense, with hot bourbon upfront, followed by alcohol, coffee and a bit of maple syrup. Intensely hot and boozy, but integrated nicely. Excellent.

Draft. Black beer with a light brown head. Toffee and bourbon aroma. Toffee and caramel flavor with bourbon. Fuller bodied. Toffee and caramel linger with bourbon and licorice.
