Don't know what to call it besides a Brett Beer. This one gets aged for 3 months in oak barrels with Brettanomyces Lambicus, a cool yeast that gives this beer a wonderfully pretty aroma and flavor that everyone better like or else I'll look you up and teach you a lesson.

Sample from 2012 batch at Great Taste of the Midwest on 08/09/2014: Hazy pale golden color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of funky fruit, yeast and malt. Light body with flavors of funky lemons, brett and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly sour with a citrusy aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle thanks to Chris. Pours a cloudy yellow with no head. The aroma is lacto, brett, oak, funk, lemon. Thin mouthfeel with nice tart lemon, strong brett, funk, oak, and light sourness. Very good.

Keg to pitcher into a sampling cup during RBSG 2014 at The Wine & Cheese Place in Clayton. Hazy yellow with no head. Aromas of tart notes, lemon lime. Tastes of citrus, lemon lime, light tart notes. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

On tap at Bailey’s. Pours a hazy light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a light lemony tartness with a hint of acid and a nice Brett backing. Flavor has light sour lemon with a nice underlying funkiness, drinkable.

Capped 750 from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours translucent gold with a slight, transient white head. Mild aroma - almost like apple cider. Med + body. Truly the effect is of a lightly tart cider with skins apparent. Thins a bit as the carb leaves. Blind tasting? I’m sure I’d go for cider. And state that it is one of the best ciders ever! Good drink.

750 ml bottle. Pours a fizzy and hazy gold. Head is pretty massive at first, but dies to a finger or so before I’m seated at the computer. Aromas are striking... It’s not every day I say \"Oh, man...\" out loud when trying a beer and I’m not quite sure why they tickled my fancy, but I pick up kind of a funky pineapple and lemon thing with a little grass and a hint of barn. Not a nose like every other saison, that’s for sure. First sip reveals that it is a very thin beer... it has a lot of flavor for the ABV and mouthfeel of water, but it is still pretty thin. Lots of pineapple and lemon with a hint of brett funkiness in the finish. It’s crisp and refreshing and if it were cheaper I would love this as a lawnmower beer. As is, it’s darn nice for those 95 degree days on vacation in St. Louis.

750mL bottle, sent from xscottypx (thanks a lot, Scott), pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out bretty upfront, with citrus fruits, some light tropical fruits and some light tartness. Flavour brings out lemony fruits, with some dusty citrus fruit skins, brett funk, a touch of banana, some peach creamsicle, and dry wheaty notes. Very highly drinkable, with a nice bretty touch and dry body. Great stuff.
