(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 7 Oct 2022) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, liquorice and black coffee. Malty, roasted taste with salty liquorice, chocolate, coffee and a mild roasty bitterness. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Lots of liquorice, still with a good stout character. Very nice.

Sample at SBWF 2022. Black with a small head. Really a lot of real licorice in this one. I love licorice, this is a nice one.

Mörkbrun med stort skum. Doft av lakritskola. Påtaglig lakritssmak med lite syrlig finish. Som att dricka en lakritskola. Blir lite mycket i längden men god om man gillar lakrits.

AR: licorice root and white sugar
AP: dark brown , no head
F: licorice root and white sugar, first one is picking up over sweet licorice, but since there is only that woody root left in the finish you understand the concept --- Beer merged from original tick of Göteborgs Lakrits Stout on 05 Sep 2021 at 09:31 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 4 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.
