On tap at MBCC Blue Session. Pours black with small tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, wood, chocolate, licorice. Slick body, roast, cocoa, licorice, boozy finish, dry, very good.

Draught @ MBCC'18 [ Blue Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark. [ As Buxton Bourbon BA Imperial Stout ].Clear dark dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, bourbon, wood, dried fruit, chocolate - coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, bourbon, wood, sweet malt, dark malt, chocolate - coffee, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20180511] 7-3-8-3-15

Keg at MBCC 2018 Blue (session Zwei), 11/05/18. Black with a well presented tan cap. Nose is rich roast, spice, mellow bourbon barrel, chocolate. Taste comprises roast malts, burnt toffee, light charr, spice. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, light warming booze and a bourbon kiss at the curtain call. A serviceable impy if lacking any wow.
