Raspbarrel is a sour ale aged on whole raspberries. It's produced by filling two of our barrel fermenters with 200lbs of raspberries each. We then fill the barrel with sour golden ale. Once fermentation kicks in, a series of punch downs is done to get as much raspberry flavor into the beer as possible.

Bottle shared. Pours hazy deep thick purple with a small white head. Aromas of jammy raspberries, lightly pithy, heavy fruity acidity in the aroma, light vinegar, vanilla, lightly phenolic. Taste has super jammy raspberries up front, very heavy fruity acidity, light vinegar, pithy, lightly estery.

Pours hazy purple with a purple head. Aroma has notes of malt, raspberry, tartness, funky and oak. Taste is medium sweet and heavy sour with a long dry, tart, raspberry, funky and oak finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
