330ml bottle. Hazy, dark golden to amber colour with average to huge, thick, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity and minimally grassy, hoppy aroma, notes of melon, honeydew melon, hints of lemon tea, a spicy touch of hay. Taste is slightly bitter and grassy hoppy, spicy hints of hay, rather neutral, pale malty basis. Nothing the world was waiting for.

Flascherl: Golden to orangey coloured, cloudy, medium-sized and slowly collapsing loose off-white head; moderate sweet-bitter orangey-lemony-fruity nose, sweet pale malt and some yeasty traces in the background; robust bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium(!) bodied, pretty soft; lingering fruity-hoppy and malty bready finish with an increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. A goody, but Tilman's Lagers are better...

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a big and firm foamy white head. Exotic fruity hoppy aroma with notes of papaya, pineapple and traces of coconut, backed by a mildly touch of cara-malt. Mildly bitter and delicately sour-tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry and strawy malt character, slightly mineralic with exotic hoppy flavours; dry and mildly bitter hoppy and slightly sour-tart finish. Great aroma but the taste is not as perfect. 02.VI.18

Bottle. Orange amber, nice offwhite cream. Orangepeel and grass, light seaweed aroma. Medium light, dry, somewhat fizzy. Cracker malt, some sugar, a bit pulpo, citric finish. A bit too carbonated and needs a bit more hops to put it over the top.

Tap at Frisches Bier. Hazy amber color with off-white head. Aroma is exotic fruits, a touch caramely, excellent hopping. Taste is peach, canned peach, a bit strawy. High carbonation, dry finish. Somehow too strawy and dry for a NEPA, and the taste does not live up to the excellent aroma - still a proper Pale Ale!
