Weak aroma but a rich taste, lingering pleasantly on the palate, leaving a flavour of old oak barrels. Reddish brown.

500ml can provided by Sigmund for the Absalon session ’12. Nice appearance with its clear mahogany coloured body and off-white tophead. Plain dark malty aroma. Slightly roasted dark malty taste with notes of dark honey. Notes of malt bitterness to a rather short-lived ending. Soft carbonated. Clean on the swallow. Drinkable without further excitements (Copenhagen, hotel room 12.05.2012).

50 cl. can from Netto. Red-brown colour with a small off-white head. Sweet and slightly metallic aroma with nuts, bread malts and a toasted note. Taste is sweet. Light to medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes abrupt with malts, nuts and a light toasted note. OK considering the abv and price.
