When we got asked to do the official GBG Beer Week 2018 beer all we could think about was sour strawberries, sour and strawberries, a sour beer with strawberries! So, that’s what we did. Gôtt ânna!
The label text says it all really. We got asked to do this beer. We felt very honored. We wanted to do a strawberry sour. Not just to make a strawberry sour but also to get more people into sour beer. Why? Because we love it! And, we think others, would they dare to try, would to. The reach of the official GBG Beer Week beer is fantastic. Stigbergets and Beerbliotek, the two breweries who’ve made Beer Week beers before, have started something special and we’re keen to get the people who loved their beers to also try ours, to try a sour for the first time. For the love of beer!

On tap @ Kufle i Kapsle, Warsaw. Unclear orange body with a white head. Mild aroma of acidic fruit and subtle strawberry. Flavor is nice and refreshing, not to acidic, red berries in general with a subtle strawberry touch. Medium body and refreshing in aftertaste. It’s OK, but nothing to go wild about.

Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is strawberries, some mild tart wooden tones with mild earth. Flavour is kind of tart wood, strawberries and some mild herbal tones.

On tap at MBCC Yellow Session. Pours orange ruby with small off white head. The aroma is strawberry seed and wheat. Thin body, tart strawberry, wheat, lacto, light acidity, very good.

Great smooth fruity sourness. Strawberries, fruity mild sourness. Very dry, lots of fruit. Great fresh strawberries in the aftertaste. Mild sour in the end.
