330ml bottle from Morrisons. Pours dark ruby red, two finger off white head; looks good. Aroma of oak, rum, vanilla, toasted malts, hint of chocolate, sweet; inviting. Taste very sweet with caramel, rum, vanilla, raisins and spice with a moderate bitter finish. Its very nice although maybe the sweet vanilla note is a touch too much. Moderate body and nice carbonation. Good stuff.

330ml bottle from Morrison’s. poured a clear chestnut brown colour with a short-lived, fizzy, off-white head. The aroma is nutty, red berry fruits and oak. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, red berry fruit, spicy, dry oak, light vanilla palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma beige fine persistente, color marrone/rosso limpido, al naso è speziata subito rum poi vaniglia caramello legno, in bocca è morbida rum caramello zucchero di canna uvetta sotto spirito, carbonazione moderata, corpo rotondo, dolce con amaro moderato. Piacevole, aromatica, complessa. Molto molto buona. c. Iper Varese 09.05.20

Many thanks for this BA beer to dantomlinson. Piana ladna sredniej wielkosci, opada szybko. Barwa czerwona, klarowna. Aromat herbaty z rumem. W smaku rum, cukier brazowy, slodko, troche beczkowo. Srednie piwo. Rum Barrel is not my favorite barrels.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of caramel, roasted malt, rum and hint of a nail polish. Pours cloudy ruby brown color with thick creamy tan-like head, great lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet caramel and mildly roasted malt, following is woody, grassy, dried fruity and slightly medicinal with rum note, mouthfeel is warm, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Barrel of a Gunn...

Heavy on the banana, unexpected but somewhat fitting for a rum barrel beer. Sweet banana, wheat bread, bubblegum, and rum dominate, with no signs of any oak or traditional Scottish Ale notes. Not sure what this is, but it ain’t what you’re expecting.
