Bottle, thanks Bierkoning, smallish head, clear amber colour with lots of orange hues, aroma of cake maltiness, woodiness and a bit of toffee, flavor of apple and vanila and a bit of cakey maltiness,with light citrusy sourness, with just a bit of alcohol, medium bodied and quite smooth. Nice and really easy to drink.

Light haze on this amber beer, small and short lived pale tan head. Smooth palate. The malts have a nice creamy sweetness and good caramel and toffee. There is lack of depth that comes from good maturation. But good all the same. The barrelling adds a nice light touch of oaky vanilla. The tequila provides a mellow but rich vegetal vibed like vibe. Some alcohol spice the end. Yeah, overall a pretty passable barleywine. Joins up well and is drinkable. A short maturity barleywine that uses its barrelling to maximum advantage and leaves a mild but pleasing toffee apple vibe

33cl bottle. A slightly hazy dark golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of strong pale malt, tequila, straw. Taste of mid sweet strong pale malt, wood, vanilla and tequila.

Heller, moderat hefiger Malzbeginn. Weich, wenig holzig, Alkohol ist kaum erkennbar. Dementsprechend recht süffig, geringe Herbe, konstante Aromatik, was mit der Zeit etwas langweilig wird. Okay. 10/8/8/8/9/8
