Den Anfang nimmt unser «Gran Alpin Amber» bei der biologisch angebauten Braugerste, die auf steilen Hängen in den Bündner Bergen wächst. In dieser Höhenlage reift sie später als im Flachland aus und speichert dank des höheren Sonnenstandes die volle Kraft der Sonne. Kälteeinbrüche machen sie widerstandsfähig und sorgen für Vitalität.
Beim Brauen achten wir mit einer schonenden Weiterverarbeitung auf den Erhalt dieser Vitalität. Schon seit über zwanzig Jahren tragen wir als grösster Abnehmer von Bündner Braugerste zu einer nachhaltigen Bewirtschaftung der Bündner Berglandschaft bei.

Bottled 330ml. -from Coop Conthey Bassin (Sion). Darker golden coloured, medium sized white to off-white head, malty caramel nose. Sweet malty, light caramel, some herbal hops and dryish finish.

11/11/2019. Bottle, sample, courtesy of Saxo & co. Pours very pale amber gold with an average size white head. Aroma of sweet malt, fruit, veg, grain, maize and rose petals. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery texture, average carbonation. Vague biscuity finish.

Bottle from Saxo tasting. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light perfume. Flavor is medium sweet. Sweet finish. 031119

Frothy white fair mostly diminishing head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate.

Bottle @Højbjerg Tasting. Clear dark golden, white head. Malty, caramely aroma, some herbal hops. Malty flavour, light herbal bitter hops. Ok drinkable but nothing special.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, grass, hops, , lavender, fruits and has a light bitter and grassy finish.
