22 oz. bottle, pours black with a tiny head. Aroma has a complex whiskey barrel character, gentle bourbon, and somewhat attenuated out dark sugars. Flavour is super rich, with big bourbon barrels, dark sugars, some vanillin, and booze. Real nice bourbon barrel character, with huge depth. Wonderful as usual.

Dark brown, looks oily. Not much head. It doesn't smell like an imperial stout, with a light nuttiness, fairly boozy. On the palate, it's got a fair bit of barrel. The base malt is soft, malty, figgy, layers of bourbon, a touch of vanilla, and a big alcohol splash. I like this - comes across more like a barley wine to me, not super.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Very dark brown with no head. Nice balanced bourbon, some mild chocolate notes, balanced, hidden booze for the abv. Enjoyable.

A lot of barrel, bold, some booze. Taste is along the same lines, moderately to high sweet, loads of oak. A bit harsh, but it's still very nice.

22oz bottle pours out thick black topped with a brown head. Nose is sweet chocolate heavy roast bourbon barrel vanilla. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate rich roast malts vanilla some bourbon barrel heat.

Bomber at share. Near black pour, thick, small ring of beige head. Big boozy aroma, tons of roasty malts, hint of chocoalte and vanilla. Taste follows with more big swwet, dark malts and plenty of bourbon barrel. No pasrty here, just a big, boozy old school RIS.
