Draft pour to a tulip at Tapped. Glowing orange juice haze. Thin cream head. Slick and juicy first sip. Honestly I'm in disbelief that this is imperial. And on top of that, it's easily imperial. Tom's of melon and citrus aroma. Flavor matches closely. Has a sweet side to this fruity double hazy. Nothing intense about it though. It seems like extensive dry hopping has put a unique touch on this one. Too easy drinking for my usual IPA taste, but that seems like such an odd thing to complain about. Solid.

Grapefruit and some booze. Golden pour with ok head. Boozy caramel finish. I'm spoiled for good IPAs on this trip, and this one fell short. Tap at Flatstick.

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Dark, clear golden with a towering fluffy head, lively carbonation. Aroma is malty with a soft hop presence. Taste harkens back to the classic NW IPA, caramel malts, woody, earthy, bitter hops. Minor sweet notes, and the bitterness keeps tingling.

16 oz. 9.5% ABV. Aroma is not too expressive, but there are notes of cantaloupe, citrus peel, grain, cat piss. Pours hazy orange-golden with a two finger cream white head with excellent retention. Taste is moderately bittersweet and alcohol is very prominent, making it pretty boozy.

Pours from crowler a hazy bright orange color with a medium thick frothy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Piney hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Medium to full body with flavors of dank resiny hops, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
