Das handwerklich gebraute Jahrgangsbier ist ein Meisterwerk aus der „UNSER BÜRGERBRÄU EDITION“. Es durfte ein halbes Jahr im Bierkeller der Alpenbrauerei bis zur Vollendung reifen. Bei längerer Lagerung verändert sich stetig der besondere Geschmack, was bei Bierkennern äußerst begehrt ist.

750ml bottle [2015 vintage]. Clear, reddish amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Fruity, caramel malty aroma, hints of red fruit, cherry, red berries, a touch of baked banana. Taste is sweet-ish caramel malty, slightly fruity and minimally yeasty spicy, hints of caramel and toffee, baked banana, a touch of cherry and red berries, increasing peppery yeasty spiciness.

Pretty dark clear amber, low offwhite head Broad sugar and Caramel aroma Medium full sweet, heather, grassy, light juniper. Starts on a too sweet note, but catches itself on the exit.

Hazy amber. Aroma is overripe banana pears instense yeast esters. Taste is sweet pear banana clove. A bit bitter alcoholic finish. Full bodied. Not bad.

Bottle. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is pears, fresh yeasts, dough. Taste is the same, quite phenolic. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Decent.

Many thanks to koelschtrinker for sharing! Pours hazy orange golden with a medium beige head. aroma of banana, yeast, sweet malt. Taste is very yeasty, pale malt, honey, ripe banana, some alcohol.
