Can shared with Nari and Gabor Gábor. Pours black with beige head. Nose is intense chocolate, booze and dark malts, with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. Taste is sweet booze and molassess, chocolate and cinnamon, nuts and caramel. Closes with a long lasting sweet finish, has a full body and soft carbonation.

12 oz. can, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is full of sea salt, vanilla beans, a bit of cocoa, and dark sugars. Flavour is an interesting melange -- I get the cinnamon and salt, maybe the vanilla further back, and plenty of sugars. The body and complexity aren't quite there relative to Modern Times' standard. It's certainly good, but it just doesn't have the flavour depth of the usual extremely high MT impie stout standard.

Can thanks to Brian. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is intense brown sugar, roast, cocoa, cinnamon. Thick body, chewy roast, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, dark chocolate, licorice, boozy finish, very nice.
