Deep and hazy golden and raw honey coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of light citrus, a dash of resin and a good layer of herbal hops, on top of a more strong malt backbone that shows some biscuits and a dash of alcohol seeping through, with some noticeable sweetness. Medium-bodied; Relatively strong hoppy bite at first shows some citrus notes, but more of a herbal and grassy profile along with some nice fresh malt characteristics and some complexity from the sugars towards the end. Aftertaste shows some nice sweet and juicy notes with more of the citrus and grapefruit coming out, especially with some fructose joining in and giving a bit more balance to the relatively strong malt notes, which are still present at the finish. Overall, a relatively nice and balanced IPA that shows a slightly 'New England' characteristic or two, but a bit more typical as a plain old East Coast IPA or just an even plainer American IPA, but not a bad option here at the brewpub! I sampled this sixteen ounce pint, on draught, at the Snow Eagle Restaurant here in Idaho Falls, Idaho on 03-August-2020 for US$4,50 while eating dinner with my family for my first ever [real] trip to the State of Idaho!
