Bottle from the stout box shared with Paul. Inky black with a thin tan head that dissipates quickly. Big barrel notes with some roasty chocolate to counter.

Shared with Chris M: pours black with beige head. Aroma is really sharp coffee, dark chocolate. Taste is coffee, chocolate, not too much sweetness. Smooth and pretty easy to drink.

12 ounce bottle from Ridgeview Liquors, 7/12/20. Black, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of vanilla, coffee, chocolate, roast, booze. Taste is coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, roast, oak, dark cherry. Full bodied, chewy. A bit hot, but not bad. Strong bitterness. Well balanced. Very nice.

12 oz bottle from the Boise Co-op. Dark, dark brown with a patchy beige head. Roasty aroma with a bit of chocolate. Taste starts sweet, more roast and more chocolate. Exceptionally smooth . Nice!

Bottle. A- Roasty, espresso, molasses. A- Opaque brown color, dark liquid, beige head. T- Espresso, slightly roasty, dry cocoa, molasses. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, robust finish. O- Double barrel aged with some kick ass coffee infused. The coffee in here was really top notch and perhaps some of the best coffee I've had in a beer. I can't say that I could taste the barrel aging though. The rum nor the bourbon really come through in taste but I am sure they add to the complexity of it. Smooth and very drinkable. Enjoyed this with a buttermilk brownie topped with caramelized pecans. Delightful!

A 12 oz bottle out of a four pack I purchased at The Cellar in Odessa, TX a few weeks ago. I have some chilled jazz going in the background, pouring into a snifter for the tasting. It appears as a medium mahogany brown with a slight topping of light tan foam. I get a nose of caramel and some bourbon from the barrels. With a drink now, not bad, chocolate, a coffee presence, molasses, toffee and dark bread. The sensation is thinner than many imperial stouts. An easy sipper, decent.

On Tap at Heritage HopHaus Very dark brown with redish edges. Coarse tan head. Big coffee aromas up front, mellow dark roast and chocolate in the flavors. Smooth roasty finish with some sweetness.

On tap at Trail's End. Pours dark brown, with a big, frothy, tan head. The nose is caramel, maple, toffee, brown bread, and brown sugar. Very sweet and malty, with a mild bitterness. Medium to heavy body, with a syrupy, powdery feel. This is a nicely malty and barrel forward beer.
